Join us for our unaffiliated dressage Competition

There will be one Intro test split juniors (up to 16yrs - taken by the age on 01/01/2023) and seniors, two prelims, novice and an elementary. 

There will be a lead rein class independent of the series at the start of the day. This is for children on the lead rein to introduce them to Dressage in a relaxed and friendly environment.

EVENT INFORMATION AND RULES

The dressage competition will take place in our outdoor arena. The Lead Rein Class is for children/young horses on the lead rein/ assisted to introduce them to dressage in a relaxed and friendly environment.

1. This competition will be run in accordance with British Dressage Rules including BD tack/dress rules, outside assistance is not permitted unless in separate classes marked assisted on booking or riding Hors Concours. 

2. All attending must be kind and courteous to other competitors, volunteers, judges and staff members. We have a zero-tolerance policy on bullying and expect all attending to follow the rules.

3. The organisers & landowners do not accept any liability for damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators, or personal property.

4. Hard hats to current BSI Standards must be worn at all times when mounted.

5. The Organisers reserve the right to alter, add to or cancel any class, and to refuse any entry without stating a reason.

6. No Misuse of the whip, spurs or equipment will be allowed.

7. All horses/ponies must have had a flu vaccination within 12 months of the competition and not within the 7 days prior to the event. Please be aware spot checks will take place throughout the day.

8. Horses/Ponies must be 4yrs old and over.

9. No horse/pony will be permitted to compete in more than 3 classes on the day.

10. Horses must not be left unattended whilst tied up to your lorry/trailer. 

11. Haynets must not be tied up outside of your lorry/trailer

12. All dogs must be kept on the lead.

 

Entries close on Wednesday 22nd May at midnight

WITHDRAWALS ~ can be made online through your account up until 48hrs before the event start time. Refunds will be given up to this time, or if the entry can be replaced. 

TIMES ~  These will be emailed by 4pm Thursday before the event. 

DRESS CODE – Competition attire. Please bring your own bib and print your own number (rider number will be available with times) 

PARKING - parking will be around the arena and trailers in the over flow car park. There will be volunteers to direct you on the day.
